Description

The 16th Festival du Livre Jeunesse will be held on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 March at the Athéna Cultural Centre. Friday 6 March from 5pm to 6.30pm. Saturday 7 March from 10am to 6pm. Admission will remain free, and once again the public will be able to meet around fifty authors, as well as enjoying a range of attractive and fun activities. This year, the festival is taking visitors on a journey through "The Mad History of Inventions... from Sparks to Pixels". It's a theme that promises to captivate children, teenagers and families alike, with a trail of sets, workshops and shows featuring the inventions that have marked history in a wide range of fields: transport, image, sound, secret codes, electronics, etc. Visitors will be able to take part in a wide range of workshops, watch a show featuring dancers, musicians and actors, take part in demonstrations, discover or rediscover retro video consoles, explore the world of machines by going back in time...
