For 17 years now, the Perche Emeraude community of municipalities, through its La Laverie cultural centre, has been building up its collection by acquiring works from exhibited artists. The aim of this collection is to promote the work of the artists and the commitment of the communauté de communes, and to be a strong cultural vector for its population. Discovery, initiation, admiration and surprise are the watchwords of the La Laverie cultural centre when it comes to discovering its collection. It's an exhibition not to be missed, with plenty to discover, including the work of sculptors such as Élisabeth Buffoli and Édline Bianco, French and international painters and photographers, as well as surprising works that include embroidery, such as the work of Frédérique Petit and the Plexiglas sculptures of Go Segawa. For this latest retrospective, Michèle Legesne, president of La Laverie and vice-president of the communauté de commune in charge of culture, will be presenting a selection of works from the entire collection. This special selection marks the end of her term as head of La Laverie, and highlights her commitment to culture. Two guided tours are available: Saturday 25 October at 11am - Saturday 15 November at 11am. Opening on 9 October at 6.30pm.
